Moving mid-september (Have to for school) but currently have bed bugs

   I've had a bed bug problem for about 2 months now- my landlord has been good at getting an exterminator in and I've put D.E pretty much everywhere in the apartment.

   My dilemma is I'm moving mod September for school and I'm deathly scared I'll bring a little unwanted friend with me.. Now I'm not taking ANY furniture, appliances, laundry hamper, towels... Literally mostly nothing.. I AM however taking clothes I can't replace (they've been in a garbage bag in the living room for the past month now thou and never touched) and some of my shoes (sandals, sneakers)... That's what I'll be taking...

   Now I'm worried because I can't bring a bed bug with me- what things can I do to avoid this? I know I can wash my clothes in hot water and then put them in the dryer for an hour but I'm paranoid- is that going to be enough or will it even work??
