Protect-a-Bed Aller Zip™ Bed Bug Proof Bedding Encasements:

Hey, the company that advertised here, Northshore is charging more for the encasements than the maker website for Aller Zip™ Bed Bug Proof Bedding Encasements. For king size it's a good almost $20 more at Northshore.

    whats up with that????

The prices vary. I note that both companies advertise here.

You should comparison shop on both the Protect-a-Bed (manufacturer's) site and on North Shore Care. Prices vary depending on whether you're buying smooth or terry finish encasements (PAB's site offers both and NSC will be within a few weeks), box spring or mattress encasements, and which size and depth you require.

Keep in mind North Shore also offers free shipping with a code on the ad (BBFREE) which may make a difference to the overall price.

You must be comparing cheaper Smooth AllerZip on Protect-a-bed's site with more expensive terry cloth version at NorthShore. NorthShore is definitely less expensive than Protect-a-bed on all items plus offers Free Shipping within Contiguous US with the coupon mentioned above.

I found the Allerzips best price at Sleep Country or a local mattress store when you consider Canadians do not receive free shipping...

Thanks for the clarification, peeps... will do some comps.

Exterminator came today, now we are wondering if the bugs are from neighbors... that would be a bigger problem than just us having the vampires! how to approach our sweet neighbors without antagonising them?

Your landlord may be able to help you convince neighbors to let the Exterminator inspect, if s/he does that sort of thing.

Wow, did I really just say "Exterminator"? After all these years?

I mean Pest Control Operator. :-)

Neighbors = Next Building, we are in a 2-family row house, as most row houses in NYC are small ones, so these neighbors have a different landlord than me. My landlord isn't involved in this treatment....

It's only a "guess-timate" from the PCO, i'm trying to figure how to find out more info about my neighbors. One would of course see them and try to see if they have welts....

    Still thinking.
