No news is good news: no bites (let alone actual bug sightings) in the intervening months.

I have to admit, I'm jealous! Someday, I will be there too!

    Congrats!

I don't remember whether I said this back when it was happening, but the landlord finally had the whole building treated.

If you can elaborate on what kind of treatment it was and how it went, I think that would give lots of apartment-goers on this forum some peace of mind.

Their exterminator fogged our apartment with cedarcide, and sprayed baseboards with a pyrethroid both in our apartment and adjacent ones. They did that three times, and we still had bugs. Partway through all that, they found bugs in another apartment, and started the same procedure with that apartment. Then they wised up and did it to the whole building, which finally worked.

    Cheers Supercali,

Very important message in your post I think - I feel so sorry for people who have bedbugs and uncaring or uninterested landlords! And it seems quite a few people from the US come to this site with exactly that problem.

How did you convince your landlord to sort the problem?
