Can anyone tell me of some good kill-on-contact products? I know Murphy Oil Soap is one (looks like there are a few different kinds of Murphys; is one preferred for bed bugs?); but what about products for metal bed frames and other non-wood things.

Also, do any kill eggs or do they just kill the bugs?

Almost nothing kills eggs very well (exception: heat. Which is why we all love the packtite...)

People also recommend 91% alcohol as an on- contact bug killer, (use a big spray bottle from the hardware store) with the caution that it's flammable, and if you are doing all of this cleaning while low on sleep, you're likely to be accident prone.
