K9 Negative!
(5 posts)-
I am posting this, hesitantly though, as a success story.
I had my K9 inspection today and she didn't find anything. I should feel relieved because I did do my homework for the K9 & handler and they have excellent references. But, there's still that little voice in the back of my head...what if?
I'm still concerned about the new bites on my dog, but for now I guess all I can do is keep looking for signs and assume that fleas can bite in rows too. Or maybe it was delayed...4 weeks... If they really are gone, I can say my last bite reaction was delayed at least 3 weeks. I think this is important to note because there are still so many people who quote 9 days delayed and sometimes 14 days. I found a controlled study by a physician who reported 18 days. Mine was more like 22ish...
How does one go back to living a normal life after bed bugs? I am still running things through the dryer and I don't feel comfortable taking my clothes out of plastic. My husband thinks I'm crazy. But I think maybe any sane person can go a little crazy after bed bugs.
I hope they are gone, but I will certainly update my post if they are not. - Best to all

I hope they are for your sake.
CONGRATS!!!
As for normal life, this is a trauma. It takes time and distance to heal, but it will come.

Here's hoping they really are gone! That is my dream, to finally have my house cleared by a K-9. I hope your journey with BBs is over for good.
