I think you will find this a wonderful tool and an invaluable way to treat things that can't go into the dryer. I probably went overboard but treated almost everything that would fit into it for peace of mind. Leather bags and shoes....no visible damage but I think that repeated treatments would shrink them so I treated and bagged a lot of things and tried to just wear a cheaper pair of shoes for a while that would stand up to the treatments or could be discarded and a fabric type purse. Most things can be stacked on the rack but I had some mesh bags that are used for washing delicate things that are quite large and used that to hold smaller items that might fall off the racks so I could do a lot of things at once. For a month or two it was going almost constantly. A full cycle is 4 hours but use the temperature probe and some smaller loads might not take that long. Just use common sense to try to determine what will take the heat.

Put the temperature probe at the center of the items being treated. To see more discussions, click the "Packtite" tag above.
