    one spray in jan.
    5 dead bugs found total.
still find small bites and wake to a specific site in the middle of the night as if i just got bit.
    foot, ankle, no mark left.
    dog says they are gone.
the visible (non itchy) and invisible (itchy) bites make me feel otherwise.

i know bites mean nothing but in the battle of the bb they mean alot.

thoughts? do nymph bites leave less of a mark?

im going to gloss my wood slat bad soon.

    FUCKERS

    sorry. cursing feels helpful

Tell us more about your situation.

You had one spray treatment in January. Did you do anything else?

Do you have any monitors? What kind? Since skin reactions really don't tell us as much as we'd like, a passive monitor may do more to help you determine if you still have bed bugs at home.

nobugs. thanks for responding. i thought i be too redundant if i tild my scenario again:
    12/28/11 live bug on wall
    2 visual inspections found nothing
dog came and alerted (no visual confirm)
    about 2.5 weeks later
prep and then spry 1/18/12 with phantom

10 days later visual follow up (too early?) finds nothing.
pco brings climbups and i installed them

de all over bed and floor

after spray 2 dead bugs found.

it takes me 2 mos to get bldg to agree to dog follow up. it comes
3/12ish and clears me. same dog that correctly id'd the bugs 1st time as evidenced by dead findings

right before dog i find another dead bug. old? who knows. but dead. but nerve wracking

the day of the dog i found a teeny tiny dead nymph in climbup.
could have been there a ling time due to size, color blening im with powders ( de feell in too)
this also means the bug was alive post climbup install 10 days post spray.
i believe phantom takes 10-14? i wish i knew how long this bug was there. its so hard to see that i still cant see it well when i look ( i kept it in there)
bldg an pco are done with me. as far as they are concerned they spent all their energy saying i was fine the while time.

as for bites. with 5 total bugs and perhaps 4 of which were adults, it seems like a lot of bites that i must not respond too. some i do. some i dont.

in last month i feel like i may get a bite sensation every 5 or so days. some leave a bump. some itch and no bump. overall very mild. sobi dont know !

i also have passive plus monitor. i won that contest. i need to mail it back and place passive monitor but david says i should take climbups off to use the passive+ im scared too but maybe i made them disperse? all the dead bugs ive found have been off of the bed. not on the bed.

So assuming the ClimbUp Interceptors (R) were installed and maintained properly (talc reapplied every three weeks), then this should mean the bed bugs were coming towards the bed, not leaving it.

I would call the PCO (do you have the nymph to show them?).

You were treated 1/18, installed the monitors around 1/28 and found a nymph in the monitors on 3/12-- even if the dead nymph was there ten days earlier, it suggests you may need additional treatments.

Most PCOs don't eliminate bed bugs in one visit. Some do, of course. They usually tell us they have exhaustive protocols which involve finding every bed bug and removing it. Even then, they sometimes need retreatment.

If you're correct that the bug in the monitor was a nymph, I am not sure why the dog did not alert to it. That makes me a bit concerned about your relying on this dog team in future.

    nobugs:
the nymph was dead. i thought dogs dont alert to dead bugs. also, based on the amount of talc and de that fell into the climbup its possible that nymph has been there since 1/29 which is still within the active time window of phantom. the thing is so small and coated in powder i still can barely see it in there.
i emailed my building and told them tobask the pco. im not supposed to contact my pco directly. it pisses me off. the only thing my pco wants to do is say "your fine" " there are no bugs"
theyve said that from day 1 until the dog proved them wrong.

i feel alone and without help now.
