    Please help me identify if this is a bedbug body. I found it (with a head that fell off) dead on my kitchen stove.
    Really appreciate any input!

    Photo is only like 1/2 in square on my screen but based on that it does appear to be one.

    Bugs die and nobody removes the bodies. This could have been dead a long time and fallen from someplace. Hopefully so but don't assume that.

    Sorry but I would begin inspecting for other evidence of live activity.

    A late nymph, 5th instar, shed skin and part of the adult body and legs of a bed bug. Just from these items, you really can't place a time of death of the adult or infestation. Had you performed any treatment in the past, neighbors (if you are in an apartment)?
