    Bed bug photo

I realize this is a poor photo but hoping someone might be able to help me identify this bug.

I've found several dead ones all over my bedroom and a few of them alive. They don't fly or hop.
I've seen them in the early evening crawling on the bed. Are they bed bugs? They do have small antennae and some look like they have tails.

    I don't have any bug bites...at least that I'm aware of...nothing itches.

    What are these nasty things?

Where's the picture? If I can see the pic, maybe I can help.

From the shape, it doesn't look like a BB, but you need a sharper image for real identification

Click on "bed bug photo" to see the picture.

I will try to find another one and get a sharper photograph.

I am starting to have psychological effects from these nasty bugs...feel like my whole body is itching now but I don't see any bites, bumps or anything.

One thing I wanted to mention is that we completely moved all of our furniture in the room to add wood baseboard and window trim...it was after this process that I started noticing all the bugs. Its almost as if we disturbed the little @$&^%@#&!s.

I've found them crawling on the walls, inside plastic storage containers and crawling on the bed.

I will try to find another one and get a better photo.

The one I photographed was inside a ziplock bag for 3 days before it died.

Sigh. I wish someone would invent a non-toxic solution - they'd make millions given that roughly a quarter of US households now have bed bugs.

If these are not bed bugs, what else could they be?

    Thanks again : )

PLEASE look at my bug photos and identify!

I managed to get several good shots of one of the dead bugs I found.

Note that photo 9656 is a different type of bug so now I"m thinking, "oh great - I have TWO kinds of bugs in my house."

All the rest of the NEW photos are the same bug from different angles. These are the ones that I found more of in the house...alive and dead.

HELP! Is this a BED BUG!?!?

100% not bed bugs, they appear to be stored product pest. The first set of pictures look like drugstore or cigarette beetles and the last picture appears to be a carpet beetle.

I think better resolution pictures are needed to determine 100% what the insects are, but definetly not bed bugs.

Some look like black carpet beetle adults, one I answered in another one of your posts as a possible drugstore beetle adult. At least the image of insect looked the same in the other post. Might have been under a different person's post.
It can sometimes be confusing to post the same images under different postings or headings. The answers will be the same.

That was me, Lou. Sorry for the confusion. I wasn't sure if folks would see the new set of photos. But I did get new information on my 2nd post so it ended up being helpful.

I appreciate your help, too. Thank you.
