    i found this bug walking across my bed the other night. Please let me know if you think it is a bed bug. it looks a lot like one but its shell is smooth. Thank you kindly for any assistance!

    Its a beetle. I can't enlarge pictures right now .. so I cant' say 100% what type. But its not a bed bug.

    Thank you both so much! Sean, I looked up drugstore beetles and it looks exactly like it except this guy didn't have any hair/bristles. Certainly of the family if not that exactly. It looked just like nearly any random small brown bug but jut freaked me out because it was in my bed. Were sure it's not a bed bug? Sure I'm just being paranoid by this point...

    Did not reply earlier due to previous correct identifications but yes 100% sure its not a bedbug.

    It's difficult to say because when zooming in, the image breaks up. Need a closer view of only the beetle without the penny.

    No, still breaks up. Could be one of the fungus beetles -- a few families. Send me beetles if you want.
