I don't think this is a bed bug, but maybe one of you fine folks knows for sure.
It could be carpet beetle larvae. They don't bite.

The hairs of carpet, or other Dermastid, beetles can cause skin reactions.
Most insect bite skin reactions can look identical so skin reaction don't confirm anything regarding the cause.
The exception are some biting flies that cut your skin open. See Horseflies
A dermestid beetle and looks like a Trogoderma species with much of the hastisetae missing from the rear of the body.
