Found this bug in a towel this morning. Not a great photo, sorry. If unidentifiable please let me know and I'll borrow a better camera.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Get a better camera but that looks like a BB based on that shot.

Oh no. Thanks for your help. No bites, though. Is that unusual?

Definitely appears to be a bed bug.

That is, with 95% certainty, an adult BB and may be a female that hitched a ride in or moved in from a neighbor.

Many people do not react to bites. Unless that came in as a migrant or hitchhicker, that thing has bitten someone 6 times minimum getting from an nymph to an adult over a month or so.

Hopefully you captured and bagged it up.

It is sitting under a glass on the kitchen counter. I am in the process of washing everything in the bathroom and all other linens in HOT water. Stripped the beds and checked all the mattresses. Haven't seen any others yet, but I am 95% certain I have seen this same type of bug once or twice before. From reading a bit on this site it seems I am pretty much screwed no matter how much I wash and boil. Do you know of anyone successfully getting rid of BB's? I have a 1 year old so not too keen on the idea of chemicals. But yeah not too keen on the thought her getting bitten either!

I can absolutely guarantee you, with proper treatment, you will be free of these things. You are not screwed.

I don't have them anymore. It took about 2 months of hard work but I've been free over a year.
