We have been preparing for heat treatment after a positive canine alert but have yet to get a bite, see fecal stains, exoskeletons or any bugs...until now. We've found two of these and examined for about twenty minutes before smashing (no blood came out upon smashing, just some puss like stuff). If anyone can identify and confirm whether or not they are in fact bed bugs that would be great! Thanks!!!http://www.flickr.com/photos/82873720@N03/

Just out of curiosity, if you haven't had any bites or seen any signs, why did you have a canine inspection? Did the handler even try to confirm the alert with physical evidence? In your situation, there is *no* way I'd be paying for a thermal treatment.

Yes - I'm just crazy and paranoid. Luckily my property management company will be absorbing all costs.
