Hi all,

found a few of these hanging around in the old wooden cabinets of an apartment (in Bushwick, Brooklyn) i have just started renting. It doesn't look exactly like the bed bugs I've seen in pictures online, but similar enough to get me worried. It is more or less 5 millimiters long.
Has anybody seen this kind of bug before, and is it or is it not a bed bug?

German cockroach nymph although the head looks weird, could be angle of photo, but definitely not the common bed bug.

Yes, I looked at the original size image and can see tracheae plus antennae also in weird position, too. That certainly explains the head shape. Good call, EffeCi!
