A very hot day in NYC yesterday, and I have one very itchy bite on my hand which appeared around 6 pm yesterday and still itches 18 hrs later. Are mosquitos out yet?

I'm in NH not NYC but it is hot here too! Last night I had to break out the bug spray in the evening ugh! So yes I did see some last night happy about the weather but not so thrilled about the buggies!

Thanks. Answering my own question - just saw what I'm pretty sure was a mosquito fly into my husband's closet (he also has one bite on his hand - in almost the same place as mine!). We had a mosquito problem last year, so it seems likely.
