   A few days ago I woke up with 3 bites marks next to each other on my arm (C-Shape) and 2 other separate bite marks (one further down my arm and one on the back of my arm). Then today I found this guy in my bed. Is it a bed bug or what is it? If it's not a bed bug-- could it have caused the bites? Thanks in advance!

   Dear bb2012,

   Your photo is NOT a bed bug.

   it appears to be a beetle but with the quality of this photo i cannot tell you which type of beetle it is.

   Help!! I don't know if I have bed bugs.. I've seen bugs like this evey once in a blue since I've lived in my apartment. Been here 5 years, but the last few months I've seen them more often. No signs of them on any furniture or my mattress at all. No marks, no fecal matter. I took a pic of two different ones I just saw and hopefully u guys tell me now. The second one on the sheet in the window sill actually took of flying after I took a few pics.. Ive never seen any other around flying but this one did. Kinda slow to but flew across the room..    Thanks Jim. Sorry I couldn't get better pics, but I took it with my cell phone lol. Don't know if I can't get much closer with good resolution, even on a digital. Hopefully somebody else might know
