I was living a nightmare this time last year, afraid to sleep, afraid to go in my bedroom, spreading the dang things all over my house as I slept on the couch and in an airbed in my office trying to get away from them (all the wrong things to do by the way). I had a pretty good infestation so needed several treatments, the first one starting on June 30th. I just paid the the PCO off a couple months ago.

I even had a bedbug relapse as recently as six weeks ago, and I didn't freak out. Now my boyfriend is living with me so we don't have to worry about him bringing any more hitchhikers over. Of course, bedbugs aren't going anywhere anytime soon but now I'm onto them. I know what to look for so they can't get a foothold should they make their way into my house again and I DON'T HAVE TO FREAK OUT!!

The last couple days I've been unpacking some of the packtited and/or dried clothes that were still in ziplock or garbage bags. I've even started putting clothes in my bedroom closet and in my dresser.

I bought some brand-new sheets (white, of course) and am getting rid of the old ones with the bb stains here and there. I don't need to sleep in pajamas in the summer anymore. I still have climb-up interceptors on my bed legs but I don't obsessively inspect them every day.

The air-bed is in the hall ready to go up in the attic in case I ever want to go camping (like that's gonna happen!). I'm going to hang on to that packtite but it will make its way to the attic too.

Just wanted to let folks on here know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel (by the way, what happened to the flashlight that I used to sleep with?). And to thank nobugsonme for starting and maintaining this sight and the experts who give of their time and talents to answer our questions and look at our pictures.
