I've been treating my house for bed bugs, my son brought them over from his house. I saw a few after spraying in my sons room come out of the baseboards. I'm getting fanatical with DE and some bb spray... however I'm not sure that is what is bitting me and stinging from my carpets even in the day. I've been noticing black specks on my bed sheets everynight, very small hard nonsticky. Little tiny specks like flea dirt. My son's dog has been staying here during the day and I have a dog also. However today I am totally freaked out, as I hand washed my delicates in hot water I noticed tiny black spots emerging from within the seams.. hundreds of them. I have been getting this crawly feeling but have yet to see anything. I've read somewhere about pepper bugs and these spots are no bigger than pepper. However they don't seem to be alive. Also when driving my car, mostly at night, I feel like something is biting me, stinging very hard almost numbing. Help me please.

I have not heard of pepper bugs.
I do know that bed bug fecal matter is not small, hard flecks that you can move. It stains and sticks. More like black paint dots on wood, or a black sharpie marker on fabric.
Perhaps the problem is fleas?

Hi we seem to have the same problem. black bits in my bed around the house and in my clothes. I feel like somethimg is crawling on my skin and biting me. my skin has tiny red dots which i think must be bites. I had the bug man round he ruled out bed bugs and fleas. I wish it would go away. I have sprayed and bombed with products but still have the problem. I am now thinking it must be some type of mite. not sure how to treat.!! please let me know if you find a solution to the big problem! thanks.
