Is it possible for me to move everything into the truck and then have them heat treat it, then move it to my new apartment after it cools off? I'm considering moving from my current apartment and don't want to bring them with me.

Also does anyone know how much it costs for an exterminator? I'd like to know just a rough estimate. I'm afraid of spending a lot of money (which I don't have) only for it to fail.

If you mean "heat treat" the truck, then that's thermal. If you mean "fumigate" the truck, then that's with Vikane. If you mean spraying pesticides into the truck, then that would be with a PCO. In other words, there's 3 different methods and 3 different types of companies that you would use. I think for the first 2 methods, the price would depend upon the size of the truck you are treating. You wouldn't want it loaded so tightly that the heat or gas wouldn't penetrate every possible millimeter! The third method (pesticides) probably wouldn't work because you'd have to wait for the eggs to hatch, and then retreat at least one more time. If you weren't sleeping in the truck to lure the bed bugs into the pesticides, then I'm not sure it would work at all.
