I live in Cleveland, Ohio and keep finding dozen upon dozens of these dead bugs and only find them along edge of my floor/wall.

At first I that they were frass, but when I looked closer I realized they were dead bugs. All are very tiny and they seem to die quickly since I've never found one bigger than the ones pictured.

Occasionally I find a live one and they are very quick and can jump almost like fleas, but they have v-shaped antennae.

For reference on the size I was able to take a picture of one next to a medium
ball point pen before it took off.

Looks like a springtail, member of the class Collembola (is a hexapod, not an insect).
