ID please ! Just found bugs at holiday apartment [expert ID needed](5 posts)
As I write this , it's 3.41am in Cyprus. Booked weekend trip in a apartmebtvwith 5 star reviews.
As a precaution to every bed I sleep in , I casually check bed sheets, draws and glance over the headboard.
As I was lying in bed happy with my inspection , after a couple of moments I decided to look back at my headboard and found numerous small yellow bugs!!! Around 6-10. Size of a pin head.
Kept my composure took pictures (see below).
Body shape bun seed more oval/round
Size of pin head maybe smaller
Slow walker - like a carpet larvae
The side view they had a few hairs from the rear. Not short or long but defiantly visible.
I placed a couple of them on my fingers and left them for a few minutes and they weren't interested - so maybe not a bed bug?
As I'm posting this, I'm going for a shower, placing clothes in the wash as a precaution.
I don't think they are bed bugs cause of the following : rear hairs and no interest in my fingers. However can't find any bugs fitting this description. If it helps the leather headboard is dusty.
Is there any way you can get a closer pic?I'm not an expert. Just sharing what I learned from my experience.

Unfortunatly I can't .. phone camera :s . I've taken many photos and those are the best ones I have.
The last photo I've attached looks like the best shit showing the hairs of the bug.
Since no one gave you an answer I'll just go ahead and say those do not appear to be bed bugs. I have no clue what they are and can only assume they are a type of mite or maybe carpet beetle larva.
Pictures really don't help. Haven't seen any bed bug related things.Professional entomologist/arachnologist. I consult on all matters dealing with insects and arachnids, including those of natural history and biology to pest management and forensic entomology investigations.
