Hello:

Last night I saw this thing crawling by my head on top of my white comforter. Of course, I have been in bedbug paranoia mode. Even though I know I was supposed to save it, I tried to flush it down the toilet and it did not flush so I took a picture of it in the toilet. I took many pictures and this is the clearest one I got.

Hi,

100% not bedbug, I suspect saw toothed grain beetle or similar species.

Thanks!

When I took the pic that was the first time I saw its head separated in the water. Last night it was in a straight line and sort of looked like a brown apple seed.

And I am paranoid.

It's a confused flour beetle (Tribolium confusum)
