Got Bed Bugs? Bedbugger Forums » Bed Bug Treatment
I was told boric acid does NOTHING to kill bed bugs.

An entomologist told me they couldn’t get it into their proboscis--or sucker or mandibular facial parts. unless I'm wrong and people are going to argue ... this should be a done deal ... Now ... if I can only recall WHICH Entomologist said this ... EVERYONE would be happy. I'm guessing it was Sean Rollo or Winston O. Buggy. Perhaps it was on the blog page months ago--does anyone agree with me on this?
We do, have some new bites, who'd used boric acid expecting it would work.
Simple yes or no's or true or false's would suffice. But a link is always best if anyone has it. -
yes--several entos have said so. i believe them.
willow, if you want to know where they said it, why not search for "boric acid" on bedbugger.com and you will call it up if it's here. you can also search the yahoo group's archives.

I wanted evryone to see it. See, several new bites had likely seen that another newbite was using it: now--if they follow me at all, they know too. :)

I only know of Boric acid being used for certain types of ants. It works on the basis of being taken back to the nest to kill the queen. Not really a method that would work for bed bugs.
