Got Bed Bugs? Bedbugger Forums » Detection / Identification of bed bugs
I need help identifying these. Any bed bugs or no? [a: cockroaches and beetles]
(5 posts)-
I had BB at my apt. I am staying with my friend and am super cautious (shower just before I leave my apt., put on "safe" bagged clothes, change when I get there, keep all belongings bagged, spray shoes with alcohol), but I am paranoid. I found a few bugs while scouring my friend's place. I want to make sure I didn't bring them with me (I had a "very mild" infestation and was only bit about 10-15 times--but was at my friend's apt. just hanging out and visiting before I knew what was going on--so, I'm worried I could have brought one in then).
I'm not getting the same kind of bites at my friend's place (I had a bad allergic reaction)-- but I noticed a few bites here and there that sting or itch and then immediately fade. It's a basement apartment, so it could be anything--but I want to be 100% certain!
Anything here look suspicious? I was told by a PCO that they are not BB--but I want another opinion even though he is very good. My former PCO (who was not great) identified a bug I had bagged in my own apt as a BB that looks identical to one posted here (that the new PCO says is NOT), so I'm confused. Please help!
4 Bugs -
Definitely not bed bugs. The pictures are not great and there is no scale to see how big the insects are, but here goes:
1) Cockroach nymph
2) Cockroach nymph
3) Some sort of grain beetle, possibly a weevil.
4) A beetle but not sure what kind.Sean

4) A beetle but not sure what kind.3) again, not sure of its true size, but could be a latridiid beetle.
4) again, not sure of its true size, but could be a black carpet beetle.
