I got the Health Inspector to come!
(4 posts)-
Yeah, he came, don't know what good it did except piss off the complex management lol! Of course, he didn't even find any evidence of the bugs either. You know, the blood droppings, encasements, eggs, live specimens, dead specimens, NOTHING. Now yeah, that is good, but bad too because outside of me finding 3 live bugs since January, we have never found any evidence either...even though I have only been biten a few times in the past 2 weeks (decreasing) and my son hasn't been biten at all (he is a severe reactor) I certainly don't feel comfortable. I spoke to the inspector the day after he inspected (I happened to not be home at the time but my son was) and he said that we have done more than any other person he has seen and if I find another bug call him on his private line and he will immediatly come back to my apartment. Not too reassuring if you ask me. It will be a week tomorrow since I have been biten, so not to be cynical, I am expecting to be fed upon tonite or tomorrow. Seems our bugs are 7 day eaters. I will keep everybody posted!

That is more reassuring than you think. He gave you his private number and if you find a bug, save it and he will come to pick it up. I think that is wonderful news! And maybe pissing off the management is exactly what you needed to get the help that you so rightly deserve. Sometimes these bugs are trickier than we give them credit for.

CB,
I think that's great news! Good for you. -
CB, I think it's good news too. You might even try to use a trap to get another sample:
