Except, It appears to have wings. I'm moving out of my apartment because of the bug I saw crawl in and out of my bed, and I have been sleeping on the couch, knock on wood, but I havent been etting bit here. I can now confirm that I also have a severe flea infestation, which I Was unaware of for quite sometime.. livingin LA, you just kind of get used to the occassional bug everywhere!! But, I have now been taking extreme measures to eradicate them. I was doing my nightly rounds of cleaning, and I went to check on my sticky traps I had left out and around my bed for the past 2 weeks, and almost NOTHING was on them, except for the flea covered one in my kitchen, which I'm in the midst of taking care of that problem. However, I have a microscope that comes in handy, and one thing I found on the sticky board looks like a flake of dried blood, under the microscope, it looks like half of a cockroach, with a pointy butt. I went into my bedroom, and in the seams I saw a live, little bug which I quickly stuck up with my sticky board. I put him in a bad and under close examination he looks EXACTLY like a bed bug. He's longer, flat, 6 legs, 2 creepy antennas, and that dreadful longggg pointy bloodsucker in between his eyes. The only thing is ihe appeard to have wings. Can this be something else that is not a wing or wings, which is resembling them, or is there some other bug who is almost identical to this dreaded bedbug who I could be sharing my bed with. I've been fogging my room with flea and bed bug stuff almost daily. What other type of bug could this be? Please help, and advise. I can possibly upload the picture if I can get a good shot from my microscope. I'm gonna go and try to find some more while I wait for your response, thanks for your time.

    Hi,

Please upload an image so we can work out what it is.

Also please stop with the fogging as it is unlikely to be helping if you need to use it almost daily.

Once we have an ID we can help you work out what exactly to do.

Did you ever find out what this was. I just found out my nanny has bed bugs and have been going crazy looking. I found a bug exactly as you described. Swore it was a bed bug until I was flicking it around in a jar and some wings came out. You cant see them when it is crawling around.
