Four times this week I had bed bug dreams. Not nightmares as in waking up screaming and air-punching but, you know, unpleasant to say the least.

I only remember the first one clearly. In it I was playing vinyl records on a 70's turntable then I saw some in the dust cover groove. Then a bunch of them and eggs were on my arm just under my shoulder. Yuk.

I hope these aren't precognitive dreams.

My BB dreams started after our multiple PCO treatments were completed and we entered the "do we still have them" phase (mystery bites, no more signs of bugs). The one that stands out the most featured nymphs pouring out of my mattress. Disgusting.

I often have dreams that include BB. Mostly, it's not distressing, usually, I'm searching for them or discussing them. (BB don't freak me out as much as prep sheets do.)

i had only one bb dream that i can remember. it was about 3 weeks ago.

In the dream i saw a few bbs in the bedroom and i killed them all dead with one strong swat with a thick magazine.

that's all i remember. i didn't see any blood or anything like that. They weren't trying to get away but they were alive.

i wasn't afraid of them or even skeeved out...just really intent on making them dead as soon as possible.

I had one dream when I was first trying to figure out what was going on. A HUGE bug was standing on its end looking at me from the end of the bed. Funny that I even got deep into sleep enough to have that dream. Now I barely dream at all.

The one dream I remember is I'm visiting my mom and we're sitting in the living room and I glance towards the kitchen to see a giant BB. I get up, start running towards it to catch it and say "Mom quick! Call the PCO!!! We have a problem!" Needless to say my mom has never had the pests or whatnot, but at the time, I was still in limbo myself.

I think that not dreaming at all means you are getting the good deep restorative sleep that we need. I believe it is known as stage 4 sleep. Dream/REM is stage 3? Might be worth a 'net search. I'm not going to do it because I'm in stage -6 sleep most of the time.

Yep. Ever since discovering a bug a week ago, I've had bb dreams every night.

The best one was I was at a BB conference, and this really disgusting, obnoxious girl came in (I assume she represented a bedbug). She was really skinny and sick looking, and wasn't wearing underwear and kept flashing her bits to everyone at the conference. So I decided to fight her (I've never been in a *real* fight in my life). And I won I hope it's symbolic of what will happen in my fight against bbs!

I used to have vivid, frequent dreams. Ever since this happened, I have no dreams at all that I can remember. It's almost like my subconscious has been wiped dry by this preoccupation.

Ironically, I sleep better now than I ever did--perhaps because I can't stand to be awake. It all feels so much better asleep.

They call those wish fulfillment dreams. The good news is that the skinny chick didn't win. Then we'd have to have you admitted for observation.

    I absolutely 'ID' with this.

Hadn't had a BB dream in a while until I looked at the photos of those really terrible infestations last week. Note to self not to look at images like that before going to bed.

I have had two bb dreams!

One was me begging my grandfather to put encasements on a couple mattresses he has in the basement but he wouldn't let me. (In reality, he has those wrapped in construction grade plastic anyway - he does not have bb's. )

The other was I was at work and a co-irker picked off a live bug crawling on me and I started bawling.

My sleep has been disrupted the last couple of nights (stress from other reasons) so I've been remembering my dreams again. (Usually, I don't remember them.)

Yup - Turns out I'm still dreaming about bedbugs, and it's been more than two years since our infestation.

Last night, I dreamed that we had stayed at our friends new house, and afterwards they called us and told us we had given them bedbugs.

The night before, I dreamed there were two bedbugs around that light switch in our bedroom - but they weren't just bedbugs, they were mutated and two inches long. I was trying to scream in my sleep.

I think bedbugs have entered my psyche as a new general motif symbolizing fear and anxiety in my dreams.

10 months free and I still dream about finding them in around my apartment.....creepy! Not all the time, just once in a while, when I'm especially tired. Weird!!
