okay so i have friends that come to my home all the time , they get warned of the BB's every time they arrive , they seem not to care at all they just shrug and say whatever. and since this ordeal has started i have started noticing bites in odd places on them , i know one of the friends has to have them due to their circumstances and stories from his work so i know he knows the severity of BB's. i also notice that every time they are over i have seen a live one the next day or a few hours after they leave. is it feasable they are leaving friends behind when they come over . Because what person in there right mind would come to a house and shrug off bedbugs knowing how hard it is to get rid of them. And i have asked everyone if they have them all saying no , i have even offered to come look when they say they are unsure. What should i do am i just being a crazy person . i don't want to keep passing them back and forth .

I haven't had company over since this mess started. I'll visit people (changing into new clothes and bagging my old ones right away) but I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing I've exposed my friends to this. It's possible they are bringing them over. Another reason to not have people over IMO

you know i tell them and tell them till i am red in the face a few friends have stopped visiting which i thank god for that , but the 2 in question seem not to care which leads me to suspect . but i will definitly stop the traffic

My mother comes over even though she knows we have them. I think it's out of guilt because she's the one that gave them to me. I stored her lightly infested furniture at my apartment for a few months early this year and wouldn't you know, they left her stuff and set up camp in my walls. Of course I didn't know they were infested. Anyway, she no longer has bed bugs and I do. Crazy but true.

amazing , just how easily we are all exposed to them , and how very HARD it is to get rid of them.

My babysitter has them in her apartment. She is rashy and itchy and the bites are obvious. She just moved there this week, so she has only been to my house twice since her (yet to be confirmed - but I am sure) infestation. Should I tell her not to come over? So far, I have been washing my kids clothes and bedding in hot/dryer hot hot when she leaves. Help!!!

What really bothers me is the fact that we cannot feel them crawling on us. And I did an experiment with one on cloth to see how well they hold on to clothes. They hold on considerably well. It took quite a bit of force to get it off of the cloth (it was clinging on with all its gross legs). If they want to visit make them remove their clothes and take a shower while you supply some comfy clothes for them while their clothes are being treated in the washer/dryer...or even just the dryer. Otherwise, just say no!!! And don't let them come over. I wouldn't let anyone over. Its too risky.
