So, I caught a bug that may or may not be a bed bug nymph... I've read advice online to have bugs identified by a professional---but who are these professional bug identifiers? I'm wary of asking an extermination company, since it seems in their best interest to say "yes, it's a bed bug, and pay me to get rid of 'em." Who do I call?

Get a picture and post it up here. Use photobucket to host it. Use the macro feature of your camera to get the best close up shot you can of the speciman from different views top, bottom, side and head on. If the shots are good enough a positive ID can be made or at least a good guess that you can google pics to compare.

There are several Entomologists, PCOs, and BB veterans that will look and are unbiased. ID will not cost you a dime.
