    HI

Yesterday while in office I was discussing with a colleague about his bed big situation at his home(it is infested). After sometime I felt itchiness on my neck.I looked into the mirror and i saw 4 red lumps(3 in a row and 1 next to it). I have read over many sites that if bites are in a row they are most probably bed bug bites. I immediately came back home and looked in mattress, bed frame..no dark faecal spots. There doesn't seem to be any bed bug even in the corner of the room! Please help how can I be sure that there are no bed bugs and what does these mark mean? I do see small ants in my house though.

Pleeeeease suggest! I'm going mad now.

    Deep breaths!

So you have to find them to be sure. You CANNOT diagnose on bites alone. Spend some time on the FAQ. It took us months to find an actual bug...you could also be getting phantom bites, anxiety, hives, etc. Look for fecal traces, blood marks, cast skins.

But spend time on the FAQ, deep breath, and relax.

There's a detection FAQ and there's a detection section in the Useful Stuff page which contains information on passive bed bug monitors. These can help you detect a problem.

OK.. now I'm sure I got BB.. coz I found 2 very small near the place where my carpet meets the wall..and another 1 near my closet.. I had already cleaned and sealed my clothes yesterday , but made a mistake of putting them inside my strolley bags! :( .. I know I have to wash them again.. but there will be chances that the bed bug eggs will attach themselves to the outside of the bags? How to ensure they don't by any chance get attached to my clothes!

Also I have some leather jackets , I can't wash them but how to ensure tht it is BB and egg free?

I want to dispose of my mattress, bed frame and table. Can any one suggest where I can get that big plastic covers?

Can BB end its eggs be removed from strolley bags and my backpack? If yes how?I've become so paranoid that I want to dispose each and everything I possess!

Can kitchen and bathroom get infested too??? Ok enough of questions.. but please help me with any information you can.. I don't want to be bit again
