I noticed my bites after being at Darlington Raceway for a NASCAR race. At first I noticed 3 bites in a row on my calf. Few days later noticed one on my other calf (sort of on a straight line with the other three) ... two on my ankle. The ladies on the trip with me though Spider bites... mom said bed bugs.

So what kind of bugs are down in SC, come out on an extremely humid day. Possibly hung out under the seats (the bites are about where my legs hit the back of the seat. Sorry, don't have a camera to take pics.

Anyways didn't itch at first... The 1st bite... was a big blister like looking with some red around the outside of 'blister'. I ended up popping it with a sterlized needle because it wouldn't go down. Strangly the white is still in the middle of the bite. I put a antibiotic bandage on it and forgot about it for a few days. Think it itched a bit maybe 4 days after I noticed it, but hydrocordozone took care of it.

The bites hung on not getting much better, but not getting any worse for a couple weeks. This weekend nothing would stop the itching. And it's three weeks after I got the bites. Eventually the benadryl spray helped.

Well all is calm, but does anyone think that three wks after getting bit is a too much and I should see a doctor. Or do these bites hang on so long.

There's another idea where I got them, sleeping on the bedspread (which was feathers) or maybe the bus...

    Thanks
