How do I know for sure if I BBs?
(3 posts)-
4 weeks ago I stayed in a really nice hotel and came back with little bumps on the back of my right arm and on top of my shoulder and upper back. I was afraid whatever it was came home to NYC with me. i have white sheets and that week i was checking for bugs but didnt see anything anywhere. went to the doc she didnt think they were bed bugs because said they would have feasted on me and attacked me everywhere.
up until last week i had no other bites at all. last week i was hanging in the park and there were tons of mosquitoes around and i got some bites that day which im assuming came from the mosquitoes. today i wake up to find 4 bumps on my left shoulder. and then i found a tiny brown bug on my sheet. i googled images and the images of BBs online dont look like this tiny bug. but i wonder if the google images are extreme versions of bed begs (the ones shown were large roach like).
i dont have any other evidence of bugs outside of the first instance and today mornings discovery. no fecal matter, no blood, no nothing. my box spring and mattress is on the floor and maybe mites or something crawl up? my bed is also next to a window so maybe things crawl and and get me? i moved my bed away from the window to see if it happens again.
how do i know for sure if they are even bed bugs? they are just bumps they dont each..granted todays bumps are 4 in a row which sound like BB bites but i cant tell. its been a month since i stayed in that hotel and since then today i see some bites and saw a tiny bug but cant say for sure.
i asssumed if i had bed bugs id get hit every night and id have bites all over my arms and legs, is that true?

any advice anyone?
overall-is it possible to be exposed to them a month ago..and then suddenly see activity and a random bug 4 weeks later? does it take that long. or if i really had BBs would i have started getting bites right away? also, would i be attacked everynight all over? i have a few bumps and thats it for friday night. would it be alot of bumps each not.
i dont have welts like what im seeing in pics. they are just tiny bumps that itch at all.

post a pictureotherwise, wait until you catch another one
and make sure to save it unsquooshed and take a photo
post a picture
there are some really good pictures on this forum, so look at thoseif you're really worried, maybe buy some climbup interceptors
but so far your story sounds more like mosquitos to mefrom a non-expert bedbug warrior
