That option should be available for those who overcame there problem would like to get on with it, but in general most should stick around for a little bit longer get more informed then remove there account.

In order to delete an account, you need to email the moderator and request that your account be deleted.

All posts from you will be switched to having been posted by "anonymous" at that point.

If you read the terms and conditions, you'll see there's no easy option, and there's a warning about this. If there is some issue or concern, please email nobugs at Bedbugger dot com.

so then is "nobugs" the moderator? I am assuming so?

I am sorry to have even posted this... i do however, have an issue with these things not being plain on a site.. however, each site has their own culture and unique situation.

I oftentimes come to a site and then leave.. it is no disrespect to anyone... I have loved posting here, but i have learned alot and want to move on with my life.. bedbugs or not.. because as we see, whether we have them or not, the point is they are out there and can always find their way to you.

So why not just not come back? Why all the effort to delete the account? I've let accounts go idle and never looked back.

    Blazing, I am the admin.

If you read the terms and conditions, it is stated plainly.

It is not the culture of the site that makes it difficult to delete your account. It's the software.

I am not trying to be difficult. Most people do not expect every post they made to be deleted when they move on from a forum. It becomes a collective knowlege base only because old conversations are still here. If you ever used the search function, then you may have benefitted from this feature (or lack of features).

If someone has a genuine need to delete things, I try and accommodate them. However, since you're using an anonymous pseudonym, which can't be traced to you, I an curious why you'd need to delete all your posts.
