How can I tell if they are gone? Should I believe the PCO?
(6 posts)-
Greetings,
I need opinions for my situation:
I just moved into this apartment one month ago, and got bites a week after the move-in. The manager sent over Western PCO to treat my apartment twice in two weeks, then after the inspection in the third week, they claimed that my apartment was clear.
However, I'm still having new bites (one or two every other day). The new bumps are much smaller than the initial ones (I was actually allergic to BB bites so the initial bites swelled a lot). But they are in the pattern of two or three together, which worries me.
And on this past Sunday, I found several blood spots on my pillow cover (Ahh I dont know how to do with my pics? hope this will work)
[link deleted]Then I told the manager about this and she sent the PCO to do another inspection -- and they still said it's clear!
Another thing is, I also put several insect trap around my bed and caught nothing.
So here's the question, how can I tell if they are gone? Can I believe the PCO? Are the blood spots from BB for sure?
Need your experience to help!!

Well you can not use blood spots to tell if you have bedbugs, you could have a sore that can break open while tossing and turning in your sleep or scratch yourself etc.
Inspect your mattress, box spring, head board, any furniture that is within three feet of your bed as well any furniture like chairs that you spend a lot of time on for fecal matter , casting skins or live bugs.

Of course there are a million harborage areas for bedbugs but if you are still having a bb infestation these are going to be a good area for you to inspect.

To newtactics: thx for reminding me the photo stuff I indeed did not notice that..
To baumannm: Basically I've have my mattress and box covered already (using BB proof covers from my PCO). But thanks for your reply. I'll try to use clear tape to inspect my bedroom more thoroughly...
