Hi all, new poster here. I've read through the FAQ and several forum posts. I'm not sure what I have.
I live in a cabin near two ponds and tall grass. I get many insect bites from time to time, usually one or two at a time. I've never had any reason to think about Bed Bugs. Tuesday Jun 30 I stayed in a hotel in Chicago. Sunday, after mowing in some tall grass, I felt some itchiness on my torso. Monday morning, I had 15 - 20 large visible welt bites and 20 -30 small pimple bites or a rash, all on my left torso.
If it is bed bugs from my own bed, does it seem reasonable that with that many bites in one night, I would have lots of evidence and bugs of all maturities? I have striped the bed and found a few blood spots (pin size) and I can find black poppy seed like flecs, but they look more like dirt than the feces photos.
Thoughts? Is it typical to have such a long delay from bites if it were from Chicago (5 days?)

On closer inspection, I did find this under the bed on the pine flooring. These dots are flat and don't seem to smear I find nothing like this on linens, mattress, or wood bed frame.
