Has anyone used this company nybedbugdogs.com to get rid of their bed bugs? Help! I didnt see anything on their website about having licesed dogs.... Im desperate for sleep. Thanks!

Hi,
You may be thinking of Bell Environmental Services, which has a dog, Roscoe. Here's a thread where they explain similar Web addresses to another company (don't know whether it's the one you're referring to):http://bedbugger.com/forum/topic/anyone-used-nycbedbugscom#post-54011
Also search the forums here, there are reviews of companies, and check the Better Business Bureau site.

There is no such thing as "licensed" bed bug dogs, as far as I know, at least in NYC.
There is one group NESDCA doing "certification" of canine scent detection dogs for bed bugs, but we have heard positive and negative reviews of dogs who were certified, and positive and negative reviews of those who were not. (It's a complex matter.)
Others who have used bed bug sniffing k9s on the forums may be able to recommend a reliable operator.
