Help IDing [a: not bed bug-related]
(4 posts)-
I need help with one more ID.
I found this while sweeping at my friend's apt. (They do not have BB that I know of--I had a "very mild" infestation at my apt. and am very careful while staying with them. I just want to be sure I didn't spread them before I knew I had them!)
This was kind of in a hard "shell" and then slid out of the "shell" when I taped it and squashed it a little. That's the clear cover next to it. There are no legs under a microscope. It wasn't crawling--it was just with dust matter I had swept up. Is it nothing to worry about or does it look like a BB? This the best photo I could get. The shape and color and "shell" aspect has me concerned. Thank you all so much for your help! It's labeled "BB or nothing?"

Here is another photo.
I squished it a little. The first photo has the penny for size reference.

Not BB related....

Agree, not bed bug related. Could be a plant part, a seed? Something like a sesame seed?
