Help Identifying(6 posts)
You great folks helped me idnify a bug yesterday. Can you help me ID this one? I found this along the baseboards under my daughters bed. The bugs yesterday had antenneas...this one doesn't. Thanks in advance. This site is a blessing.

Bed Bugs LimitedIn accordance with the AUP and FTC (legal requirements) I openly disclose my vested interest in Passive Monitors as the inventor and patent holder. Since 2009 they have become an integral part in how we resolve bedbug infestations in domestic and commercial settings. The patent numbers are GB2463953 and GB2470307.
I also have a professional relationship with PackTite in that they distribute my product under their own branding. I do not however receive any financial remuneration for comments I make about products which are all offered because of their technical merits.
No, sorry, i destroyed it. If I see another, I'll try again. I took 3 pics & all are blury, so I'll clean the lense.
Its better to take a picture from further away and zoom in via crop so its all in focus. Sometimes having a penny next to the sample helps.
Also keep samples in jars or stick them to take so they can be confirmed if you are using a PCO.
Ok will put penny near the next one. My camera is not fancy, its just a cell phone. But they normally turn out better.
Yeah, too blurry... anyway looks more like a beetle (abdomen and thorax shape) than a fed BB adult....
