Hi I'm new here and I've been trying to find some help. My girlfriend and I moved into an apartment about 4 months ago and about a month into living here she started getting bites on her so I did some research and it looks like it could be bedbugs. The thing is neither of us have seen them and its only her getting bitten I haven't been bitten yet. Shes really freaked out about them and wants to move but we have a year lease on the place. Is there anything I can do to find out if it is bed bugs and if it is what I can do to get rid of them. Thank you.

Did you check out all the pictures under bed bug photo's on this site. They are really good at showing you what they look like. The only question i have being a newbie to this and am unsure if im gonna be infested is where are the common places that they go and where to look?? but for sure check out the pictures

You will need to notify your landlord first thing. You need an inspection from a professional. You need to start with the landlord. Some are responsible for the cost, others are not. It all depends on the state you are in.

Where are you located? I would also think with a problem ranging about 3 months .. Some signs would be noticeable. Do you know how and what to look for?
