Going to get a PCO - Should I vacuum?
(2 posts)-
I want to be safe and I'm going to have landlord get a PCO. I think from my memory, last time we were told to not vacuum and just put stuff away. This is so nothing is disturbed and vacuumed away.
Thoughts to vacuum or not?

If you're having an inspection, it's not a bad idea to let them come and inspect before you disturb anything. This is because visual signs need to be found before bed bug treatment.
On the other hand, cleaning is never a bad idea if you're suffering. If you can hold out until the inspection, I'd probably do that. The worst thing is when residents suspect inspectors found nothing because it's a light case and evidence was cleaned away.
If inspection is a long way off, you could vacuum and watch out for samples. Make sure you deal with the vacuum bag or collection canister carefully because they may have bed bugs or eggs in them afterwards.
I started and run the site but am "not an expert."
