   I just saw where you can buy sheets, pillow cases, mattress and box spring protectors made from this geraniol. It states it is made from geraniums which is deadly to bed bugs. it states " won't let the bed bugs bite cause it kills them if it gets too close. "

   anyone know anything about this?

   I would be very skeptical.

   If the marketer has independent entomologists' testing data (which most don't seem to bother with), post a link.

   If there is such data, look at how long bed bugs were kept on the product in the lab. For example, I believe some pyrethroid-treated mattress covers had data showing they worked, but the bed bugs were kept on them for a very long time. In real
   life situations, keep in mind they're not likely to sit on the bed for very long.

   okay thank you. That did seem like it would be too easy and someone on here would have mentioned it. I don't see any information on testing . I will look more.
