I have been trying to think of a way to move our futon without bringing the bed bugs with us. The metal frame would be fine after I vacuum and treat it with spray or alcohol I am assuming (hoping), it's the fabric mattress part I am worried about. The PCO never mentioned our futon being a problem and I have yet to see bugs or poop on it but I want to take every precaution and this is not a piece of furniture we can dispose of, as it is our couch. Would it be an okay idea to encase the mattress part?

Also, our kitchen table and chairs have not been a problem since they're in the kitchen but they are wood so I am concerned. I realize I can't spray the table top because of the residual poison. Any recommendations on cleaning this? Again, furniture we can't dispose of. Would ordinary household cleansers without dilution work?
