Found a small half of a shell tonight - extremely flat, dark black (possibly dark red), with a semi pointed end and the tell-tale horizontal stripe. I can't seem to photograph it, but I did spray it with hydrogen peroxide to see if it would bubble. (which it didn't) I had heard that anything with blood on it would bubble. Any thoughts as if this would be a bedbug? I'm freaking out because a friend stayed with us recently who had recently done some exotic, and third world, travel. Maybe he just picked up a dead shell along the way?
