I actually found this tiny skin on the cover of my grill outside on the deck.
I'm curious to what it may be from. I'm thinking bird lice or wood lice?

Absolutely not sure, but it looks like a cicadella cast skin....

Thank you EffeCi. We have these robins that are very resiliently insisting that their nest belongs under our deck. Every single weekend we take it down. In fact yesterday my husband took down three that were started, one of which was half way done and then this morning I seen them starting it again! Tomorrow it's off to the hardware store to get somthing (brillo, barb wire, something!) to stop them. We also just finished staining the deck and now plan to treat it as we do every spring. (spiders etc..)
Anyway, just hoping it wasn't of a biting bug relation. ( bird mite, some sort of lice, or Lord forbid, bat bug, bed bug etc...Seemed paper thin flat but much to narrow for bed bug relation to me) I found a few of these tiny things on the grill cover in fact. They're about 3mm in size would be my guess.

Ok Paula - here's my OTHER suggestion - to get your mind off bedbugs -
hows about a DAY trip to Atlantic city - that way you are not staying in the hotel room and won't have to worry about bugs there
