This morning I felt something on me and squashed it, I had blood on my two fingers.
A couple of hours later I saw a bug crawling on the blanket I have on the bottom couch cushions.
I scooped it into my hand, then got a glass and dropped it on my kitchen counter top so I could look at it.
I looked it up and it is an adult bedbug.... I freaked out.
I still have it, but now I have it in a small jar.
The only people that come to my house is a friend that I have had for the last three years, my case worker for my home health care and a PCA ( Personal Care Assistant ) The PCA is a new one, and I think she is the one who brought the bedbug in.
I am in the process of washing things and drying them well.
I inspected as well as I could, and I have not seen any other bedbugs.
I am homebound and in a wheelchair and have extremely limited income, I also have two cats that are indoor only cats.
What would be the best suggestion to get rid of these pests.
There was never a problem before this new PCA...never.
I have contacted my home health care agency and they did some checking, and no one else says they have bedbugs, but this girl just started a month ago, so those other people will now be looking I'm sure.
Sorry for the rant, what can I do? Remember I have two cats, and I am homebound

Can you take a picture of the bug?
There are many propel here that can confirm it for you

I can dump it out of the jar that I put it in that has 91% isopropyl alcohol in it.
Then I can take a picture of it.
Thanks for the response.
There is no doubt to me it is an adult bedbug, the good pictures here had confirmed it for me.
