    Hi,

One of the nice things that happens by virtue of the fact that I am well equipped to take macro images is that I get a lot of invites for "coffee in the garden" at this time of year from my green fingered friends. It seems that the winter months are easier to deal with when you can look back at images that invoke the greener and more pleasant days of summer.

This weekend I received two invites and have collected some of the images into an album on FlickR:

    https://www.flickr.com/photos/bedbugsuk/sets/72157645271571137/

Those seeking to enhance their ID skills and eye sight in general may do well to spend some time in this gallery to see that the camera like the human eye is capable of detecting even the smallest variance in colour and texture and that once you "get your eye in" the macro world contains a microcosm of detail and that what initially appears to be a solid colour with practice and training your eyes becomes more obviously a range (a good sign that something is organic).

My personal fav images have been embedded below to "tempt you into my virtual garden".

Hopefully some of you will also find them smoothing as dealing with bedbugs and for that matter people with or without bedbugs can be stressful in itself.

Thanks TAOT, sounds like you may have to drag someone in her for a calming camomile tea or even some tea made with those spiky plants hear the compost in Denver.

    Just say'in.

Abs, I called dibs on Big Dummy. Early bird gets the....

It worked so well for me to call dibs on David. No one subverted my rightful place by sending him banana moon pies on an Amazon monthly subscription of anything like that.

When you have preciously accused me about being a "what have you done for me today" type person?

My pictures were to show others how I take time out to "smell the flowers" and to focus hard on something that is not bedbugs once a while to appreciate the world as a whole.

I mean its not as if I even had a postcard?

Back off TAOT. You already gave him up to me. You have Master Cain.

And to answer you questions from the other thread, not so sure anyone would describe me as innocent.

And yes, David, we all need to remind ourselves to stop and smell the roses every once in a while!

It's already OT. I can hijack it.

    BIS...I'm watching you (glaring sideeye).

I've got to go back and look at the beautiful pics to offset the stress Abs and BIS cause to a nice friendly gal like me....

    Thanks, David!
