Here is some video shot of a Packtite unit killing a jar full of bed bugs. Actual video length/treatment time was around 25 minutes, video was edited down to about 5 minutes.

At what temp did they get highly agitated? At 120 they are freaking out. How long before they died once it hit 120?

What are the 2 different temp readings on the LCD?

David - I had the same questions as Jim

But let me know tell you - my Packtite has SAVED me in many ways

I know it was not designed to "debug" someone's apartment - but I have been running that thing everyday for weeks now and will contiue to run it for the next few weeks until I move

I can almost declare myself free at this point - and the Packtite has been invaluable in helping me!!

Just a guess but I think the bottom number 120 is the set temp and the upper number is the current rising temp. Anyhow cool video but it desperately needs sound FX of death screams :D

The Bottom temp on the red thermometer is the set temperature, that is the temp at which the alarm will sound on the thermometer. The top one is the temp inside the test.

They were at 120 for maybe 15 minutes as they went from highly agitated to dead. The extreme agitation began around 118-119.

I'm taking requests for soundtrack songs.

    Love it!!!
Two possible ideas for a soundtrack came to mind as I was watching:
The Hot Hot Hot chorus of this one Poindexter song found here:

and the chorus of this song, although some of the words would need changing:

I think we should make this video a nominee in the Best Bedbug Snuff Movie category. Great to see the bastards die.

Soundtrack suggestion: The Heat is On!

Hi, David, are they really dead or could some of them fake death?

    Dead as a doornail.

If I have time I may work on the requested soundtracks.

I'm wondering why they didn't try to climb the walls of the glass jar- presumably the temps were somewhat cooler above, since the lid on the packtite wasn't closed?

I too vote for the queen!! There are more than 200000 bugs on our bed .Most of the people are disturbed by the bugs!!Hence we should take precautionary measures to control the bugs as they are also the main cause for deseases!!

They did try to climb out, but glass is too smooth a surface for them to climb. I have some footage of their attempts, one got almost halfway up before losing its footing. Bed bugs are not the best climbers luckily.

OH MY GOD THIS VIDEO IS THE BEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN! Anyone struggling with bedbugs should watch this on loop for immediate anxiety relief. Watch those suckers DIE in misery!!! HAHAHA!!

Ahem. Now that I got a little pent-up anxiety out of my system, it's time to order a freakin' PackTite! (It had already been on my mind, and everyone I asked said to do it - this video just made me go from depressed about dropping another couple hundred bucks, to THRILLED that I'm going to give these parasites the revenge they deserve!!)

honestly, i cant remember how long it took because i am so stressed about this whole situation and time has melted. i feel like it was about 4 days. definitely, no more than a week. lets go with 4 days. i may have paid for express shipping though. i will say that i love it and trust it and it has made the most stressful situation a lot more bearable.
