I sure am hoping and praying that at 65 days we have seen the last of those little creeps! After self treating, decluttering, encasing, caulking and painting we moved back into our bedroom on October 10th. It's been 65 days without a bite or sign of them. I have to hope that they are not "hibernating" somewhere and planning an ambush!
For a little background....my husband was told in mid August that there were bedbugs at his job and it took me getting numerous bites and finally finding one on Sept 1st to convince him that they had hitched a ride home with him sometime in August. We turned over the mattress and boxspring and found a group of them happily at home on the upper corner of the boxspring. Hubby grabbed his handy can of TAT and sprayed them to death. (definately is a contact killer) We promptly moved into our spare bedroom (a no-no but I was too scared to sleep with the bugs) and proceeded to clean, spray, encase, caulk and paint. I should mention that on our 2nd night in the spare bedroom one bb wandered in and I found it on the back of my teeshirt. I think I stomped it to death! LOL It felt good to get some revenge. About 2 weeks later I found one crawling up the wall near the molding and it joined the remains of the others in a baggie. Once all the work was done and we redid the entire bedroom in white, we moved back in (10/10). Since then we haven't see one nor found any evidence of any. I can only surmise that the infestation was small and caught in it's infancy.
This forum was a godsend, not only in information, but in support as well. The one suggestion I will make is that if you currently have bedbugs do not read this forum before going to bed. It kept me up many nights thinking of what others had said about bb's on the ceiling and in hair, etc. Yuck! Not a good bedtime story.
I'm going to stick around and update as need be. Everyone be brave!!!
    Happy holidays!

Ahhhh ... now this is the kind of story I like to read! Hope your happy ending continues. But in the event they resurface, you'll know how to stomp them to death.
