Fecal Stains?
(1 post)-
We found quite a few black dots on our hardwood floor underneath an area rug. They are raised, look like spots of tar, various sizes. When wiped with a Q-tip with either saliva or peroxide, they don't smear on the floor, but black is smudged onto the Q-tip. If I keep rubbing, the spots come right off.
Does that sound like fecal stains? This area rug is in a bedroom but gets a lot of traffic, and we've never seen any actual bugs, eggs or castings under there. I would think we would be stepping on them? There was also a rug underpad there, and no markings on that.
Thanks in advance!
