Do bedbugs deposit fecal matter after each feeding?

Do bedbug bites usually have a white head in the middle?

Also im pretty sure i have not been bitten in probably a couple of months but i still tend to find mysterious bumps on my stomach and back. Usually it would be one would show up and then 10 days later another shows up and the previous one is still there!

Also, does anybody have photos of what bedbug scars tend to look like?

    Dear dre,

In my work with individual/isolated BBs we see that well fed/engorged BBs make about one fecal stain per day. This will occur for about the first ten to fourteen days as the blood meal is metabolized over time.

Individual reactions to BB bites may vary in appearance and severity.

Scars may vary in appearance as well.

There are plenty of photos available for viewing in the resources pages on this site as well as elsewhere.

    Hope this helps, paul b.
